Performing Band

Marching is part of this district's musical DNA. The Performing Band (advanced) is a marching band in Fall, and a concert band in the Spring.

At the conclusion of marching season all students will be in a concert group. The Percussions class is the Performing Band percussion section. There is a heightened focus on musicality and expertise on one's instrument in preparation for concert and festival season. There is a focus on reading more music, as well as perfecting festival pieces. Private lessons for this ensemble are encouraged. Again, daily practice is essential.
