Intermediate Band

Intermediate Band is open to 6th - 8th grade students and have a heightened focus on music fundamentals and technique, ensemble skills, music notation, music listening, and an introduction to marching band commands and technique in the band. The Intermediate Band combines percussion with the rest of the band. There are less performances with these ensembles, which allows the students to enjoy learning music without the busy performance schedules of the advanced ensembles. Daily practice in manageable chunks will aid greatly.
