Intermediate Orchestra

Intermediate Orchestra is open to 6th - 8th grade students and have a heightened focus on music fundamentals and technique, ensemble skills, music notation, music listening, and The Intermediate Orchestra performs several times throughout the year and performs in the same concert as Advanced Orchestra for the annual banquet concert, Heart for Strings. There are less performances with these ensembles, which allows the students to enjoy learning music without the busy performance schedules of the advanced ensembles. Daily practice in manageable chunks will aid greatly.
