Intermediate Orchestra

Intermediate Orchestra is primarily comprised of sixth graders who have had one year of string instruction. This class provides the opportunity for students to continue learning an orchestra instrument and helps students appreciate the relationships between music, other arts, and society. Students taking this course are provided with a balanced comprehensive study of music, which develops skills in tone production, technical skills, intonation, music reading skills, listening skills, analyzing music, and studying historically significant styles of literature.
