Instrumental Music Concert Attire

All of the Instrumental Music groups (Intermediate Orchestra, Advanced Orchestra, Jazz Band 2, Intermediate, and Performing Band) will be wearing the following items for concert performances:

• Standard/work style, black “Dickies” pants (no bell bottoms)
• Black “Dickies” belt or other solid black belt
• Solid black dress socks, solid black dress shoes (no sneakers – must meet school dress code; if you are not sure if they are appropriate, please ask)
• A white long-sleeved, button down shirt with collar (not cream or ivory) that must be tucked in at all times
• Long YLMS music tie that can be purchased through the YLMS music boosters

Jazz Band 1 members will substitute their white button down shirt for a shirt and tie combination and black suit that will be selected at a later time.

The above concert attire items ensure that our groups look uniform and give a visual presentation that is pleasing to the audience.
